Suppression

Charcoal drawing firefighters ready for hoseline attackThe categories under suppression services include a look at our apparatus, our stations, our personnel and statistics on the alarms we ran last year.

The page on apparatus contains pictures and descriptions of all the "rolling equipment" we currently operate. Each picture is represented by a "thumbnail" photo which can be expanded to a more viewable size.

Two of these pictures (one of our quints) is in a image map form. If you wish to see what is inside a compartment, move your cursor over the compartment and click the left mouse button. To return to the page view, use your browsers "back arrow button".

Another detailed picture is the rear view of our command vehicle. The picture is diagramed for further explanation of what the equipment is. Because this photo is a thumbnail, written descriptions can not be viewed unless you expand it.

The personnel page contains another "thumbnail" view of our organizational chart . A corresponding chart is provided below that chart, which gives the name of the individual, their current shift and station assignment. Also, if you wish to contact an individual through our e-mail, you may do so by clicking on that individual's e-mail link within this same chart.

The full time personnel are organized under the guidance of the International Association of Firefighters Local 1730. A printable copy of the current agreement is available through a link, located below the list of personnel.

The page of statistics is in chart form for alarms ran during year 2007.
