Description of Links

Charcoal drawing of firefighter with master stream deviceThe links section has been sub-divided for your convenience to find a specific site within categories.

The Fire Service link has sites that have information on the fire service as a whole, including  links to fire service  and EMS trade magazines.

Fire Organizations sites are professional and educational references. This is the location of links to other fire departments around the country, large and small. There are links to other pages that have lists to virtually every fire department on the web.

Governmental sites are local, state and federal sites that have some relational qualities to the fire service. There are some sites that are not fire related but have a value to those locally. Weather and natural disaster management sites are listed here.

Fire Department links are those local fire departments in the Kansas City area. The addresses and telephone numbers are listed for all metro departments, with or without web sites.

If these links do not work properly, try again later. If they still do not respond, please email us and we will try to correct the problem. URL's occasionally change due to any number of factors. Sometimes, the new address is not automatically updated.
