Message from the Chief

Fire ChiefGreetings from Raytown Fire Protection District. We provide service to the City of Raytown, Missouri,  a suburb of Kansas City. As Fire Chief, I welcome you to our Internet site.

The goal of our organization is to provide the highest level of fire protection, rescue and emergency medical technician services to our citizens and visitors within the city limits. A highly trained and professional staff of firefighters and fire officers bring these services literally to your front step. These dedicated men and women are committed to provide services by continuous improvement in their skills and readiness.

The Fire Board Directors and myself provide the commitment to the Raytown Firefighters by obtaining the best tools, training and equipment while being fiscally responsible to our taxpayers.

Please take a few minutes to browse through our pages. I think that you will want to mark this site as one to re-visit, so add it to your favorite sites list.

Our goal for providing this to you is for you to learn more about our department and the services we provide. We have included some safety educational materials and information on what do after the fire. If you need to talk to us, there are a number of ways you can do so. We have provided the regular mail address and phone numbers. You may also contact us through e-mail .

Thank you for visiting us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours in the Fire Service,
 signature
Rick Mawhirter, Fire Chief
